I'm amazed at the number of posts I've read on RagingBull where people were asking "why is HWP down over 20 on no news?"

Uhhh...there was news. There has been news for 15 months.

I thought I was the normal individual investor because I know the ins and outs of companies I invest in. Totally amazing that shareholders didn't know what 6/2 meant to them.

Now, I work for Agilent in an IT job, so I've been painfully aware of what was going on for the past 15 months. Maybe it's the fact that "Company Split" is all I've lived and breathed for the past year that made me so aware. Maybe to the individuals outside, it's all been seamless.

Has it really been a quite split to the general public, or are that many people just that unaware of where their money is?
