Wayne, I'm afraid you could be right on the retreat. IMO, if there's a lesson biotech investors may be taking from this, it may be that gains now might only come with marketing approval. With the recent shift to emphasizing short-term earinings (as potentially irrational as that may be in this sector) on top of this, the value of good PIII data may be discounted even deeper. Its all in the NDA (or rather the FDA). Interesting though, that not even CHIR got hit that heavy on Friday. Perhaps the sector is already discounted for failure.
