I just wonder why anchors like Ron Insana (CNBC) seem to take the glass is half empty viewpoint. Today, he kept mentioning that certain FED members are saying they need to see more data---ie doubting whether inflation is under control.
One could easily intrepret the FED comments as something one would expect. Why would the FED say inflation is no longer a worry----it is always a worry!!!!
I am not saying that Ron's comments will have a lasting effect but it just surprises me why he almost always tries to put a negative spin on it. He is a very intelligent anchor ..... but he should explain why he would NOT expect the FED members to make such comments. Even if the next month of reports show no inflation---the FED governors will still be cautious, or at least I would expect them to be.

My point is that there is no news here and he reported it as some new development.

BTW--I have not seen any of the other anchors take such a pessimistic viewpoint.
I remember when Ron said that a broker blamed him the for the April/May selloff in the Nasdaq---that was funny. It seems to confirm the negative spin he puts on news.
I still like Ron anyways as he allows me to get some bargains that I normally would miss out on.
