>>A good test to determine if you are extreme, or in the mainstream is to ask yourself the question "Are most or all of the news shows and papers biased away from my thinking?"
. These enterprises live and die by polls and ratings and so reflect the largest audiences. Those who feel that there is a conspiracy of minority opinion to shape the content are most likely out of the mainstream.

Ridiculous, since fully 85% of journalists self-identify as Dems or Liberals. Of course, they argue, wrongly, that their uniformity of political identification doesn't influence their news judgment or reportage. Every study has shown that it does. Since you disagree with that reality that makes you the extremist, not those who see it.

The network news have lost fully half their ratings and audience in the last 10 years, so yes, the people do appear to find them extreme.

Same with CNN, FoxNews is climbing while CNN is in ratings freefall.
