SB, i think this is precisely what is happening...they're trying to incorporate all their anecdotal 'evidence' in the macro measure. the fact remains that overall economic output CAN be measured in dollars (it's not an outdated way of measuring things like GG asserts...i know, new measures like 'eyeballs' have been invented to rationalize crazy i-nut valuations...but economic output is economic output).
