Well, that would be Sun - see my other reference. Sun was first to do a clustered benchmark, and first to claim it was directly comparable to single-image.

Monolithic apps like the SAP SD benchmark are a better indicator of pure single machine capability. CPQ Wildfire just took king of that hill, and I expect that the Wildfire and IBM S80 will fight it out on that front, at least until SparcIII is out in big machines.
