I wouldn't put too much credence in that source - Tulloch is a chipset so it cannot replace Willamette. It will replace Tehama though.

Maybe the source has heard something about Tehama not getting much support from 3rd party board makers. Since Intel makes its own boards, that doesn't mean much.
