I'm quite sure that he did not waste the shorts . I have e-mailed Serge and he is a straight forward person with his responses .

Talking about straight forward responses I alse e-mailed one of the complainers on one of Iomega's complaint sites and got a response. He was complaining that his Zip drive was a bad one and I'll post it below .

Ah. Not really. Never did hear back from them one way or the other.
Everyone I asked said the same thing. Although, you do have to pay now
for techinical support.

The drive itself, I found out on my own, was functioning properly.

Now Linda if you go to the complaint page that I got this guy's problem from you would never know that the problem was with the person himself .

I'm sure this is the case with most of the problems that people encounter with Iomega's drives and disks .
