Thanks for your thoughts. I, too, question the acceptance of INTACs. However, though the price advantage for them has eroded compared to LASIK, they're reversible and less risky. An eye doctor friend of mine tells me that reversibility is a big issue with her patients. One doc in town does include INTACs in his arsenal, and I might very well make an appointment with him, and see what I can ferret out. My eyes are probably close to OK, but hopefully, if I'm paying for his time, he'll discuss it with me even of I'm not a candidate for treatment. I will certainly post that info, but it may be a while before I can set it up.

I used to like STAA, but I think management has somewhat overstated their market. See the thread for my thoughts on that. Talk about being a lonely poster. I replied to everyone and got nothing!
