Nice call TD. It seems that you called it accurately before it was all cleared up last night/this morning.

Non-Nortel Business Smokin?; Raising Estimates and Target to $225 FY01E: $0.80 / FY02E: $1.15

ú Supercomm checks and meetings with management prompt additional bullishness in AMCC story-raising estimates to $0.80 for FY2001 and $1.15 for FY2002 off of higher revenue expectations.

ú Much of the upside this quarter and through FY2002 should come from explosive growth from non-Nortel communications business. September business already looks ?phenomenal?, too.

ú While NT may grow only 8-10% this quarter, any weakness is transitory and related to NT?s product transition - or put another way, higher than expected demand and reloading a potentially more potent product line for the future are causing an intraquarter issue. AMCC is providing standard chips into NT?s newer product lines-providing substantially higher dollar content per box. Look for NT to continue growing on an absolute basis but declining as a percent of total revenue.

ú We firmly reiterate our Strong Buy rating and increase our price target to $225. We encourage investors to buy AMCC on any weakness owing to misconceptions/confusion surrounding issues at Nortel.
