Agreement Enhances Service To WaveRider's Global Customer Base
WaveRider Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:WAVC) (FRANKFURT:WVR.), a leading global provider of wireless Internet access products, today announced it has formed an alliance with General Dynamics Worldwide Telecommunication Systems, a leading ISO 9001-registered international provider of telecommunications infrastructure development and support services, to provide service and support to WaveRider customers around the world. The agreement enables WaveRider to provide complete technology and service solutions for its Last Mile Solution(r) (LMS) wireless Internet access products on a global scale.
Through the alliance, General Dynamics Worldwide Telecommunication Systems (Needham, Mass., USA) will provide global engineering design and installation services of LMS products to WaveRider customers throughout the world.

Under the agreement, General Dynamics will provide system and program planning and management, application engineering, RF path survey, design and network engineering, as well as operations and maintenance services to WaveRider's customers. WaveRider will oversee all pre-sales engineering work and maintain direct contractual and service level agreements for all design and installation services of LMS products.
WaveRider's LMS products are the world's first fully networked, license-exempt wireless systems, bringing broadband Internet access to large, medium and small office/home office (SOHO) businesses, utilizing secure and interference-free spread-spectrum radio technology in the license-free 2.4 GHz ISM band.
