I'm not sure that we actually hire illiterates. It may be that the job simply turns our little brains to mush, and we become dopes. But dopes with a penchant for blackmail and practical jokes. We also appear to be dogfood, as a large scar on my thigh can attest. Two inches to the right and he would have neutered me. It got infected and took over a month to heal. For a while I was wondering if I'd be able to return to work, the scar bears weight when I drive and it was very uncomfortable long after the bite had healed over. I've met a couple of carriers who had their careers ended by dogbites. One fellow had something like 500 stitches to close his wounds, the dog literally tore the flesh off his arm and shoulder. I believe it was an Akida.
