Have no fear. You should welcome this experience. As human beings, death is inescapable. Just think of what you have accomplished and what you have contributed in this world. Look ahead for this new experience: in a world with no limitations, with complete freedom to roam, with instantaneous communication with other entities.
rabbi, since you and I have this experience. I want to share my thoughts with you as follows:
1.I found limitations in languages. I speak several languages yet there are things that CANNOT be described by ANY languages. These "thing" could only be understood by the parties involved. There is No need for speech. Separate entities understand each other but this is different from mind reading because there are no mind involved. You see English and other languages have limitations. When the guys invented these languages, they lived in a three-dimension world. But in this "other" world, dimensions do not exist. There is no time, no space. Tell me rabbi, how can you describe something without time and dimensions in any language? I give up.
2.I believe the reincarnation process will contiuue until the entity has completed the learning and contribution process. When the entity reaches this point, "it" will move on to another stage that can not be comprehend by us with very limited communication skills (such as English, French, Japanese, Chinese and others because this languages are totally inadequate).
3.What you saw may be a staging area. Decaying bodies just happened to be there. When one's "soul" is out of the body. This body will be useless and decaying is just part of the process. You'll find decaying bodies in the cementary too. So don't be afraid.
I have to run now. This will be my last post in this thread for now and other Y2k threads. I am going to find a new home in CSGI and have some fun over there.
