Being a leader requires you to demonstrate certain skills of leadership and management. Hiring competent or incompetent people to run your affairs reflects on your leadership ability. Being the President of the United States is a leadership position. If nothing else, the issue reflects on Gore's leadership abilities and is therefore newsworthy. Do you honesty believe the media would have ignored the story if this had been George W. Bush? Michael
