Members Can Make Free Internet Calls With Improved Voice Quality
SAN FRANCISCO, California - June 1, 2000 - Dialpad.com, the leading VoIP service, and Quicknet Technologies, Inc., the leader in SOHO Internet Telephony products, today announced a strategic alliance agreement that will combine the quality and convenience of Quicknet?s award-winning Internet telephony cards with Dialpad.com?s free Internet phone service. The combination will improve sound quality through echo cancellation and hardware based audio acceleration for Dialpad.com?s rapidly growing base of over seven million members.
Under the terms of the agreement, Dialpad.com will market Special Edition versions of Quicknet?s award-winning Internet PhoneJACK?-ISA, Internet PhoneJACK?-PCI, and Internet PhoneCARD? products available for purchase immediately through Dialpad.com?s Web site dialpad.com.
