The Department of Justice has determined that Silicon Investor has become a near Monopoly in the Target Market of Intelligent posts on technical issues on the Web.

Because of this, the DOJ has requested that Silicon Investor be broken up into two companies and related websites.

One website (PostingWebsiteCo.) shall contain only posts to SI. The other (ReponseWebsiteCo.) shall contain only responses.

The Judge while expressing general agreement with the facts, questioned why there shouldn't be yet a third website for just Charles, Cheryl and JC.

A final decision is expected later today, but has been slighly delayed. The Court, which had originally expected to just cut and paste the DOJ's proposed order into its order must first convert the original document from AMIpro For Linux to its own Mag Card Reader which can then be re-typed into the court's IBM Selectric.
