Marcelo - There is usually a positive side to every situation. The one regarding our perception of poor marketing is that if machines are selling as well as they have been in the past two quarters with poor marketing, how good will sales get **when** the effects of the latest overhaul take effect? I'm hoping that these changes really do affect marketing. The engineers are clearly "world class" and so are at least some sales people. Now the top marketing folks need to fall in line here.

If SGI could be a marketing juggernaut like Sun or Oracle, SGI would leave their competitors in the dust. But then Scott McNealy and Larry Ellison have demonstrated their marketing abilities over the past few years. Although Ed M. is making a lot of changes that appear to be very positive, the effects may not be visible for another few quarters. Give 'em time.

Regards
Jeff
