Yes, as it happens, the occupying group has gained extreme military and economic power not only over the continent, but over the planet as well ... and yes, trying to capture a small slice of those economics is the prime motivation of mexicanos going north to work ... and yes, all borders are arbitrary expressions of Geopolitik, and many are enforced in such brutal manner ... still, none of this removes the moral right, it can only attempt to remove the power to exercise the right.

The great majority of illegals i have known [and i have known quite a few] made absolutely no drain on US government resources [beyond being occasional fodder for the ethnic cleansers of the migra] ... partly for the simple reason that they did not want, for obvious reasons, to show up on any computers ... but more for the fact that they were ready, able, and willing to work ... to take home a little money for, in most cases, their mothers and/or wives ... the money is there, on their continent, so they go for it ... this is imho their right.

No, you didn't offend me, i know you better than to think you nearly as jingoistic as some here ... still, i thought i'd address it ... in re history - the mexica themselves were conquerors who came from north of that current border some two hundred years before Cort‚s came from the east ... fwiw ... cheers
