Bill. Interesting article with top stock picks by the Individual Investor. Nice move in my VRSN today. One of the stocks mentioned. AOL is on the list also. biz.yahoo.com This FED from San F. made his second little speech this week this afternoon. I guess he was not happy that the market was up. He mouthed off that they really can't see within the next 2 weeks if the economy will be tamed. ( Yeah. That should be the biggest reason for no further rate hikes until you can see clearer) He thinks the economy is still growing too fast and wants to see it around 2 1/2 to 3%? He thinks 5% is too fast. He is still a hawkish Fed. Other opinions today were that we may be lucky of getting a soft landing. Some say now it could be a hard landing. If the Fed keeps all this crap up it will be more than a hard landing, more like a recession. JMO. The market started tanking when this FED news was mentioned on CNBC after 3 pm, but luckily nobody paid attention to CNBC today. I still don't know why every bit of bad news has to be mentioned just before the markets are getting ready to close. Oh well. Great finish today. Msft verdict only 1o min. away. Sonny
