JQP - you forgot one thing...

When the going (market) gets tough - you disappear on vacation (at least that's your excuse for straddling).

You've never made a call - except those of the monday morning - after the fact variety...ie: glad I was "on/off" max margin etc...when's the last time you brought an "idea" stock, or a niche play to anyone's attention with any accompanying FA/TA ? - not that you, or anyone else has to; but quit your little green monster act .

As far as Market direction ? - "Q" actually; fwiw - taking profits at OSX tops; picking up the easy money on the NAZ; exiting yes - on this recent NAZ pop - but folks - the June Fed Meeting is days away and this one aint over yet; I'm glad I rotated back to the Oilpatch. To be honest; I'm very pleased with my overall market direction call.

The easy "bounce" money in the NAZ was made in April - early May . But, now there aint no mo "easy" money - I kept a very, very small basket of tech; that I am happy with. If the NAZ goes to 5000 - I allready got mine & more power to those hearty souls who are buyers here and make the money thru 5000. - me; I'll just take my Oilpatch $ vs. the NAZ thru year end.

Risk does matter. I don't ever want to have the highest return in the market - because to do so; one would have to either be lucky to a "needle in a haystack degree" - or, to have taken on lots of risk. I'd rather leverage & nail the middle 75% of a major sector move - that's what I look to do, be it the initial April-May Naz bounce; or the middle 2/3rd's of these OSX runs. I've made too much money here of late to risk it; the Oilpatch is once again - on this pullback; the premier risk vs. reward play in the entire market. ... with some of those cyclicals like IP (near 6 year low, PD, AL etc) looking pretty good, not to mention Bulls hotels & some select S&L's...

"Q" - overall market direction - blah, blah, blah.... put the green monster away; and latch on & follow as usual... just keep the ankle bites to a bare minimum and we'll let you hike your leg on an occassional fire hydrant - fair enough ?

MEXP ? Everyone made money & lots of it, for anyone who listened/followed the exits & entires.Still a great little basket pick here.

MDR - well the ONLY guy who got that one right was Druckenmiller (his massive insider selling - when no one could figure out why & no one did figure it out either)... and look where he ended up ? - asbestos ? - whodathunkit.

... go grab a snausage Fifi & quit your ankle biting.
