Response to Silicon Investor Private Message or "PM" ========================================== Basically I have no clue, since I submitted questions to GS, tsig, and OTC reports re: GS to try to make an assessment of who GS is and never got answers. The only question I got answered is that their IT dept has 20+ people. ALso considering GS has partnerships w. 1stUp (a CMGI owned company) and Direct Hit, I think "shell" is a bit of an extreme mischaracterization. For me the IT dept and the partnership w. 1st Up for the Free ISP including the percent cuts of banner revenue plus the marketing info "potentiallly" provides a lot of synergy and opportunity in addition to providing a "base" or portal already with a large number of affiliate relationships that also generate revs via placement and buy throughs. Whether it makes sense in terms of shares spent and "value", I really don't have enough info to make an intelligent assessment. Again though, I adamantly do not agree that GS is "essentially a shell" Sincerely, z
