Robert, < I bet we will see the lap top Zip as soon as NEC comes on line.> The first Zip's in laptops will be IBM, Toshiba, and Compaq, probably sometime in July. see cnfinc.com for more info. Call them. They are very open with their progress. They are working with Iomega, IBM, Toshiba, and Compaq to bring the laptop ZIP to market as soon as possible. Price will be $299. I want to get a new notebook bad, but I am patiently waiting for laptop ZIP. I will probably end up with the a Toshiba Tecra since I have had good experiences with Toshiba. FF
