Orbit International to be acquired by Homing Inc HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., June 7 (Reuters) - Defense and civilian electronics firm Orbit International Inc. <ORBT.O> on Wednesday said it had agreed to be acquired by Homing Inc. in a stock deal valued at about $3.6 million. Terms of the deal call for each share of Orbit to be exchanged for one share of Homing, a private company headquartered in New York with research and development operations in Israel. About 2 million shares will be issued in the transaction. Orbit shares, which were halted ahead of the announcement, were up 2-7/16 at 4-1/8 on Nasdaq. 14:13 06-07-00
