Olympic names Jensen to board Olympic Resources Ltd ORL Shares issued 11,519,376 Jun 6 close $0.41 Wed 7 Jun 2000 News Release Mr. Daryl Pollock reports Olympic Resources has appointed Peter Jensen, LL.B, BCL, BSc, to the board of directors. Mr. Jensen, age 48, acquired his BSc and law degrees at McGill University. His science degree was directed to an intended medical degree until he determined to move to law. In 1981, he commenced the practice of law in the corporate and securities fields. In 1987, he co-founded Mr. Jensen, now one of the senior corporate and securities mid-sized firms in Vancouver. Mr. Jensen has been and is a director of several private and publicly traded companies, has been a board member of companies with capitalization in the hundreds of millions and assisted in the raising of capital in ranges of up to $100-million. Mr. Jensen's securities practice is primarily focused on United States listings and securities offerings together with a substantial base of practice and business contacts in the Canadian and overseas markets. The southeast Garrison City No. 1 gas well in Kern county, of California, was put on initial production in late May. The well is currently producing at a rate of approximately 2,000 million cubic feet per day with a tubing pressure of 1,510 per square inch. Payback for this well is expected to occur within four months. Well-financed Olympic continues to pursue oil and gas opportunities, primarily in California, as well as other investments in the biotech industry. |
