Seeing as how Polvie openly admitted that he is full of it, for his sake I really do think you should go the extra mile and just try and fulfill his request for Pistachio-White Chocolate Chip Cookies: in that regard, here is a recipe that Tom's angels must have published in our local rag today.

3/4 cup butter, at room temperature
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup quick-cooking oats
1 package white chocolate chips
3/4 cups chopped pistachios, divided

In large bowl, cream butter with sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and oats. Gradually add to butter mixture, stirring until thoroughly combined. Stir in chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of pistachios.
Place heaping teaspoonfuls of dough on to ungreased baking shits, I mean sheets.
Press some of the remaining pistachios into top of each unbaked cookie.
Bake at 350 F for 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown
For chewy cookies, do not overbake.
Makes 36 cookies.

Voltaire - if you tell me your story, I'll tell you mine.
