--RETRACTION of My Previous Interpretation of OSI's Optical Loop Powering Feature--

Dear John and Thread,

Please see my post # 101 on FCTF:

Message 13847920

I'm afraid that Ill have to retract, at least momentarily, my first interpretation of the OSI FiberPath description of the optical loop powering. It's got to do with how they worded their release, and a hasty conclusion on my part. Combined, those two factors made for a couple of hours of excited discussion, but I'm afraid we'll have to wait a little longer for terminal equipment to be powered by a loop-derived light source.

Apologies to All for any confusion this may have caused.
