Alla: Re: "I thought that was you, Justa, hangin' out on the Porch and I would have come up to you but you appeared to be a little apprehensive about all the weird characters milling around and besides, I wasn't wearing any pants."

Crimson underwear scares me <g>.

Re: "As for the next few weeks, I like the way the market is reacting (or not reacting) to the MSFT news and as you and Voltaire have said many times, it's not the news but how
the market reacts to news that's important."

Naz looks good as it retains its upward bias. We are at the second stage of the rally where the bulls get more and more excited. Joey B. and Froelich are pumping hard. Ralphie likes the Naz now. I see George Gilder is taking on the bears and saying that folks just don't get this technology thing. Voltaire is posting to the bear threads. And the bears are starting to talk the Naz down and maybe even starting to go short.

Pretty soon this whole Naz 3,000 thing will seem like a market mistake, an error attributable to high beta, a fluke, or a buying opportunity of historic proportions.

All I know is that the Naz seems to be fairly valued now between 3042 and a little over 5,000 based entirely on the musical chair method of stock valuation. It is a trader's market pure and simple.
