Don't know if anyone saw the NOVA special on Global Warming last night. Don't care to start any new arguments but it WAS very informative and had a balanced approach.

Anyways, the show got me thinking about the high energy prices, the need to cut CO2 emissions, and the coming NG shortage. How can I profit even more from it? As I thought about it it occurred to me that the government will probably start an energy conservation program later this year. The NG shortage is going to cause an emphasis on heating efficiency. Started looking at companies and stumbled on Owens Corning for fiberglass insulation. They have a fairly new fiberglass insulation product that is virtually itch free and easy to install. Used it a few months ago and was very impressed. Oh baby, picked this stock up off of the floor! Definitely worth a look for true investors. Check out the forward earnings, which should rise substantially this fall, and PE. If I am right, this puppy will soar like an eagle this fall as everyone looks at ways to cash in on the crisis.

The best thing about the professional traders and money managers is that they can't think past next week. Maybe that's why none of them can beat the market for 1, 3, or 5 years. That's right, NONE of the mutual funds have beaten the index funds for any of these time periods (according to the Motley Fool).
