I didn't and in most cases in the southern part of the state you don't see the northern lights. There is too much light infusion from cities and we are just a bit too far south. If you go into Ontario it will blow your mind. Go out on a fishing lake around midnight and you wont believe your eyes. Its truly a sight that everyone should see.
