Hemispherx/Short Sellers Case-2:Further Litigation Likely 6/8/0 11:15 (New York) NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--A U.S. district court dismissed Hemispherx Biopharma Inc.'s (HEB) defamation case against short sellers, including Asensio & Co., ruling that it doesn't have jurisdiction in the case. In a press release Thursday, Hemispherx said the court made no ruling concerning the merits of Hemispherx claims or Asensio's counterclaims. Hemispherx still has the option to pursue the charges in state courts. When reached for comment, a Hemispherx spokesman wasn't able to say whether the company plans to continue litigation, though he said it was likely.
