I have a question for the group. How do you determine when a stock is 'fully valued' ??

Im not trying to be ignorant, but I was talking with someone I respect and admire who said he had sold some of his stock lately because he felt it was fully valued. This is a person who has been investing for 25 years using the buy and hold method. I don't believe he needed the money but wanted it to work harder for him.

I always watch the stocks I own to make sure the fundementals of the company haven't changed, But how do you decide after 10 years
you may be better off selling and investing in something else??

I would like to hear how you determine its time to sell a stock that you've held for 10-15 years.

Thanks a bunch!!

Ann
