You are either severely misinformed or just a little shit!! JDN JDN, What did I do to deserve the personal attack? I'm not talking about java open source coding compared to MSFT. I'm talking about Sun having the same power Microsoft enjoys by being able to set its own standards that everyone has to follow. If Sun remains in control of java, it can dictate what's in and what's out. If IBM or another competitor develops a piece of java code, Sun will have full power to veto. This is a very dangerous situation for IBM to go along with (really the whole industry). Sun will have the ability to pick and choose what goes into java based on its own agenda. Now how is that much different than what Microsoft does? If you can't see the striking similarities, you are either severely misinformed or just a little shit!! chic
