I can't believe how angry I am. Maybe because this is MY town, OUR town, the people who live here, and this BUILDING and the ASSHOLES who designed it and USED OUR RESOURCES AND SPACE AND TIME, UP, are not.
They are not FROM here.
Now, this is incorrect thinking; because it shouldn't MATTER that they are not from HERE. We should ALL be pissed off about what anyone from anywhere wastes our money on that doesn't work. And wastes our craftsmen. Does anybody give a shit about that? That you can waste craftsmen? Too? That they lose interest and skill time? That they know they're building SHIT working for IDIOTS in positions of dictational authority? Stuff that will force people to be miserable? That's not doing what it should? You think they're stupid? Just because the architects and suits are? Well let me tell you where the stupidity is. At the "top." So they're not getting even my feigned respect. No. No way. They're not even getting deference. Deferral. Courtesy.
Work has to make SENSE.
Or it is DESTRUCTION.
Mark my words. This will come back to haunt us all. It's not just time wasted; materials wasted; wealth wasted; minds wasted; ~ all of these things together waste your FUTURE. And everyone's present and DIGNITY. You're being ripped off. You need these things done correctly. You need these Craftsmen. Worked at their skill.
You needs things ACCOMPLISHED. And TEACHING people to Accomplish. Making it a Given. Standard practice.
So I am angry.
And I'm doubly angry, because they forced this ON MY TURF. I am not just one of the quaint members of a small town who like whatever you give them because they are grateful for anything new and they are stupid, we ~

If it were not illegal, dangerous, and ridiculous, I would burn the sucker down. I see a "start-over," a do-over, as being the length to which this building needs its butt kicked. For the public good and future safety. (I recommend blindfolding the architect inside, symbolically.) I really want to punch him before he gets burned up though.

We should ALL be ANGRY when THEY do this stuff to us.
I have much more respect for that woman who makes happy slaughterhouses.

I've though of actually proposing a Post Office building, a new one, and starting a Committee, ignoring entirely that we "have" a post office.
