Swisstrader,

Ever heard of GE Capital? GE Capital generates 50% of the entire company's annual revenues. No other GE unit generated more than 11% of GE's annual revenues in 1999. So yes, one could easily surmise that GE is a major financial institution.

You stand corrected.

For someone who claims to have personal knowledge of how friends and colleagues address CEO Jack Welch, you are completely clueless about the company he runs. Which calls into question all of your previous claims and statements. Maybe you should do a little more research before spouting off about what you do not know.

As far as your details of the weapons used at Columbine, congratulations, you just made my point. If the twerps didn't use the guns to kill the kids, they'd have used the pipe bombs, etc. The end result would've been the same. You are also making the assumption that these kids couldn't have bought these guns on the street if the gun stores were shut down. Wrong again, these jerks were hellbent on killing people and they would've gotten their hands on firearms, regardless of any laws or regulations. Killing people is against the law too, yet that didn't stop them...so you're telling me a gun regulation would've? Please...
