I took the money from the sale of my RMBS straddle (thanks for the idea Scumbria) and used about half of it to pay down margin while the other half went to buy 1 July 95 call order. My reasoning was similar to yours Joe. I think Duron introduction and the run up to what I think will be a very positive earnings report will put the shares above $100 easily. If I was convinced of Niceguy's prediction of $120+ by July expiration I'd hold on to the call order to exercise it, but being slightly less bullish I'll probably sell on any solid gain (either that or sell out of the money covered calls on my 200 shares, maybe both).

OT

I put in another offer for a house and again it wasn't accepted. I think I'll keep putting in low to moderate offers trying to get a good deal, rather then aggressively trying to pay what it takes even if it means I have to wait a few months. Would my option debt be counted against me when I try to get a mortgage?
