You will find friendlier threads than this one if you look around.

And joking aside, I was offended by the post which made fun of your job ...... I hope people listened to me more respectfully when I (1) flipped burgers at a fast food restaurant; (2) unloaded trucks and mixed paint at a K Mart store; and (3) cleaned up after wedding parties at a country club. I didn't have any more or less to say then than I do now. People of all vocations are qualified to offer whatever opinions they like on whatever they like. It is the quality of those opinions which matter. You could amend your profile and say you were a venture capitalist, and people still shouldn't listen to you if you talk nonsense, and should if you spew forth wisdom.
