It has been a while since I heard a rundown on who owns who (and who is bigger than who in footprint and $) in the european cable wars. Can somebody give us a overview? Especially since some talks seem to be going on: ************************* Redwood City, California, June 8 (Bloomberg) -- Excite at Home Corp. (ATHM) rose 2 1/8, or 11 percent, to 22 5/16 and traded as high as 22 3/8. The provider of high-speed Internet service over cable lines is in talks to merge with Chello Broadband NV, the Internet Unit of United Pan-Europe Communications NV, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with the talks.
