As disclosed in the May 5, 2000 press release of the Company, the Company currently requires additional working capital and is in discussions concerning possible financing alternatives, although no definitive agreements have been entered into by the Company. If required under the rules of The Toronto Stock Exchange, the Company will present to its shareholders for their consideration particulars of any such financing transaction at the adjourned meeting of shareholders scheduled for July 14, 2000.
