Just call me cynical. Senate approves PMTR next week or the week thereafter. 8 chineese companies cancel their agreements with Qualcomm citing the desires to develope their own brand of CDMA that won't require payments of royalties.

The scenario seems so similar to what China Unicom did right before the House vote.

As for the latest QCOM article posted a few posts before me, I think QCOM needs to be agreesive. Charge more for late-comers. Seems a great strategy to me. QCOM execs should be mad as hell by now.
