FVC gets injection from Vulcan

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- FVC.com received $27.4 million from Paul
Allen?s investment organization Vulcan Ventures.

Vulcan purchased a 16.5 percent stake in FVC
(FVCX: news, msgs) for $27.4 million of
preferred stock, convertible into approximately
3.4 million shares of FVC.com common shares at
a price of $8.00 per share.

Vulcan also received warrants to purchase an
additional 850,000 shares of common stock at $7.00 per share.

FVC networks two-way video over the Internet.

FVC shares closed up 17/32, or 8.2 percent, to 7 1/32 on volume of
176,000 shares.
