So the U.S. is not the leader in software, hardware, aviation, aircraft engines, biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical products, medical delivery, space exploration, internet, WWW, fuel cells, military weaponry, business productivity, mass media, mass entertainment, and on and on?
We also are the best at producing and selling govt and corporate debt, as well as company stock!
It's TRUE !! LOL !
Are we really any smarter than the Europeans and others?
Or are we simply less willing to get bogged down in stifling govt tax burdens and red tape, and issues like social status, "equity" and "entitlement" and male chauvinism?
I think the latter.
Look at all the very smart people who come to the US and make their fortunes. So why could they not do it back home in India, China, Hungary, France, England, or wherever?
Israel seems to be about the only country other than the US that can consistently sprout and grow cutting-edge tech firms. Let me know if you know of another.
