On the reincarnation thing I have a question. Since there are more people being born all the time and some who pass on have reached perfection so they don't come back, where do the souls come from for the added people? Are they "newbies" coming out for the first time? If so, who makes them? I had an out of body experience when I was younger, and can only say the trigger was the state of mind I was (no drugs involved) in at the time. I never wanted to do it again because I too feared I would not get back. It did for all time confirm to me that we are spiritual beings in a temporary physical body.
The religious aspect is a touchy subject as people get upset when you knock their beliefs. I believe that there is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that the SON came to us on earth in the form of a man Jesus. He was perfect and took our sins on Himself and died on the cross. He took the keys of death and hades from our antagonist satan and rose from the dead on the third day. He is the only man ever to rise from the dead. And after a short time He ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, where He is still sitting today after nearly 2,000 years. Still a man and God and alive after once being dead! He is waiting for the Father to tell Him it is time for His second coming when He will return to earth and gather God's elect from the four corners of the earth and then defeat the enemies of God in a final battle.
Corinthians 1:22-24. "For Jews ask for signs, and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God."
