Amy, From the outside looking in, it doesn't seem like enough market intelligence was gathered and shared, maybe due to either a confrontational culture which may work against soft skills needed for gathering and communicating market information to manufacturing teams. You may be onto something. Maybe a lot of Intel employees in core divisions, who lived in high pressure environment for so long try to get transferred to some of these newly acquired ventures, where they get to exercise their soft skills (goof off?) and still receive the same stock options. I believe I read in one of the interviews with I believe Craig Barrett, that there was a lot of interest on part of current Intel employees to go into the new divisions. Joe
