Agreed that someone knows early and provided that they are big enough could make an impact.

Problem in this case was if you knew that 1)May PPI was better than expected and 2) PPI core was worse than expected, How certain could you be of the markets' reaction in the morn?

Obviously,(Monday morning quarterbacking), the market initially went to buy mode on the #s, especially in the DOW and NAZ, but I think that the S&P's should have popped more
if this was such a great positive for the market, don't you?
