Hi gl, I own stock in ESV and am on the way to Dallas today to attend their annual meeting tomorrow. I went to the OFFSHORE TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE last week in Houston and talked to some officials with RB, ROWAN and NOBLE DRILLING. I also have these companies in my portfolio. They see further increases in the dayrate and continued strong demand for the rigs. I started a separate ESV thread a few months ago; it's Listed under ENSCO. Be glad to have you post ESV news there.RIG is in good shape since they got out of the turnkey business where they lost money on 4 contracts in the 4th qtr. of '96 . ESV is asking shareholders to approve 125 million in new shares. They are getting ready make some kind of move. Jim
