Stampede Worldwide Announces New Commercial Print Contracts for Its Chronicle Commercial Printing, Inc. Subsidiary TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2000--Stampede Worldwide, Inc., (OTCBB:STWW) announced today that its subsidiary, Chronicle Commercial Printing, Inc., has added several new customers to its existing customer base. Since the Company's new press became fully operational on April 17, 2000, aggressive marketing efforts have begun to produce the desired results. A total of thirteen new commercial print customers have moved to Chronicle representing total annual revenue increase of $444,927.
Chronicle Commercial Printing began operations on January 14, 2000, and during the period from inception to March 31, 2000, the total revenues were a modest $99,438. Sub-contractors produced all of the commercial print work generated prior to April 17, 2000. The Company has over 60 additional proposals in the hands form prospective customers, many of whom are expected to join Chronicle prior to the Company's fiscal year end. All of Chronicle's existing and future customers are prospects for the Company's Internet related services offered by Stampede Network.Com, Inc. and all Internet clients are prospects for commercial printing.
Chronicle Commercial Printing, Inc., specializes in printing low press run news printed products such as, hometown newspapers, shoppers, monthly specialty papers and news printed magazines. The Company primarily purchased and installed a new Raghabeer Fast-300 web press to print its own computer parts and accessory catalog through its Spiderscape.com subsidiary.
The Company's commercial print business currently accounts for approximately 66% of overall revenues and provides stability in cash flow while the Spiderscape catalog has been in development. The Company's first Spiderscape catalog is expected out the first week of August 2000. The Company plans on continuing its outside commercial print business after it launches its catalog to optimize revenue opportunities and keep employee productivity at optimum levels.
