It wouldn't surprise me if the media spin put on Qualcomm's latest PR, especially the part about reserving the right to charge higher royalties for those who drag their feet, is that it is eerily similar to Microsoft's "punishment" of those vendors who refused to adopt Internet Explorer as the browser of choice. They will probably hint that this type of behavior is tantamount to extortion and should be investigated by the Justice Department. AM 80 7/8
