><>...Good morning Mike,...><>
My response to you was based on the info you gave in post #17, in which you said the experiences happened somewhere between "consciousness and "unconsciousness"..... I believe that to be a "twilight" state of mind. Usually this state of mind is just previous to falling into a sleep state.
It appears though that you are talking about something else. What I believe you have made clear is that this experience can happen while a person is fully awake, yet possibly in another dimension. Akin to a twilight state of mind but not about to fall off to sleep.
My understanding of this happening then can be attributed to 2 kinds of phenomea, excluding of course that there are NO drugs of any sort, or any prolonged sleep derprivation as a cause.
1. "Daydreaming" And 2. "visions"
From what you have stated then, I gather that your's was a "vision". Visions are a very real happening, and once it is determined that there were no external causes, i.e. drugs or sleep deprivation, in an otherwise healthy mind, then the next step is to determine the reason for the vision.
And in many cases that can be very personal, and understood only by the one who has experienced it. And in fact it might not be immediately discernable even by the individual until some time later in their life.
Visions that are from God are for a good reason and always "teach" us something, either for our good or for the good of others. One needs to question very thouroughly, what was going on in their life at the time of the vision. Maybe just weeks, days, or hrs. previous to the vision.
If the vision cannot, after examining it, be understood, or was just too frightening to understand, then in my opinion was not from God, and should Not be given any further consideration.
But again this is something that must be answered by the one who experienced the vision.
Visions come in various degrees of importance and meanings, and it is up to the "visionee" to determine it's place in his own life or as it applies to others, if it has a place at all. Dan 9:23 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. (KJV)
My suggestion to you Mike would be to study in depth the book of Daniel. Just read it through once or twice and then attempt to apply deep understanding with the help of God. If God gave that vision to you, he will help you understand it....Daniel 8:15
If it is not from God, then I would consider it no more.
Is this more of what you were getting at my friend? In any case I hope it helps
Have a blessed day Shalom...><>
