Dave, It is probably true that most of the disk drivers, graphics drivers, Lan drivers, etc. are optimized for SDRAM platforms if they are optimized at all. INTEL needs to put a greater effort into optimizes these drivers for its new platforms. I think the drivers group into byte and block oriented. It looks like these drivers should have been completed before product launch and yet they were not. I hope that INTEL will get smart about this now that the benefits have been demonstrated. JK
