I have found that the immediate response to news lately is the opposite of what I would expect and that there is usually a one day delay in the expected stockmarket direction. I have been trading on this idea for the past 3-4 weeks pretty successfully.

I consider today to be an opportunity to enter the market before it rallies significantly next week. But I should warn that it is more of a "gut" trading method than a disciplined approach.

I didn't see the futures this morning...too busy sawing logs.
